Someday a professor entered the classroom and asked his students to prepare for a surprise test. They waited anxiously at their desks for the test to start. The professor handed out the question paper with the textual content facing down as usual. As soon as she handed all of them out, she asked his students to turn the page and start. To everybody’s surprise, there have been no questions, only a black dot in the middle of the page.
The professor seeing the expression on everybody’s face instructed them the following,’i need you to write down what you notice there.’ the students got started at the strange challenge with confused minds. On the end of the class, the professor took all the answer papers and started out reading every one among them aloud in front of all of the students. They all without exceptions defined the black dot, seeking to provide an explanation for its position within the middle of the sheet and so on.
After all, have been read, the classroom become silent. The professor started to give an explanation for, I’m not going to grade on you this, I simply wanted to offer you some thing to think about. Nobody wrote about the white part of the paper. Everybody targeted at the black dot and the same happens in our lives. We have a white paper to examine and enjoy, however, we continually focus on the dark spots. Our existence is a gift given to us by God with love and care. We always have motives to celebrate, nature renewing itself each day, our friends around us, the task that gives our livelihood, the miracles we see each day.”
however, we insist on focusing only on the dark spots, the health problems that trouble us, the shortage of cash, the complicated relationship with a family member, the frustration with friends and many others. The dark spots are very small in comparison to everything we’ve in our lives, but they’re those that pollute our minds. Take your eyes far from the black spots in your life. Enjoy every one of your blessings, every second that life offers you. Be glad and live a life positively!
