Everybody likes to fast during Navratri. But some people ignore their health during these fasting days for nine days. But, those who suffer from heart problems, diabetes, and high blood pressure, they and pregnant women should take special care during this period. The doctor says that due to fasting in patients suffering from type 2 diabetes, the risk is reduced, but patients of Type-1 diabetes should not be allowed to fast. While keeping patients with long illnesses, consult a doctor while fasting, because regular medicines can be reduced by 40 to 50 percent due to the continuous dose of medicines.
