The operations of the mind are produced by two parallel modes of activity, the one conscious, and the other subconscious. The subconscious mind carries out its operations with certainty and regularity. The conscious mind acts as a reasoning mind. It thinks over about the ideas before it gets to the decision.
When you start learning driving. Nothing about driving is on your subconscious mind. If you don’t give enough attention, you will forget to paddle the clutch before you change gear. But as you learn it more and more, it becomes a habit for you. You don’t have to give it attention. Everything about driving becomes automatic. How you think is possible; some people talking to you and playing a nice note on piano at the same time? They don’t have to give it attention. It flows automatically. The subconscious mind is the seat of habit. The ideas in subconscious mind doesn’t need questions. Thus the subconscious mind rules the life and we can alter our life by altering it.
